Martyna Mišeikytė is a long-time student of the Trakai School of Arts and a graduate of the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art. She is currently continuing her musical education at the Karlsruhe University of Music, studying with Prof. Brandt Attema and Prof. Sándor Szabó. Martyna is a laureate of both national and international competitions. Among her distinctions are the Grand Prix at the international Junger Virtuose competition in Riga, as well as the Grand Prix at the 2nd international chamber music competition Musica Brillante in Vilnius. In 2024, Martyna became a recipient of the Deutschlandstipendium and earned a place in the academy of the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra. Since February 2025, she has been engaged as the temporary principal trombonist with the Bremerhaven Philharmonic Orchestra and in November she was honored with an award jointly presented by the GEDOK Association of Women Artists and the Karlsruhe University of Music.
