Bert Langeler (conductor, the Netherlands / Estonia) has been well known for more than 30 years among promoters and advocates of wind music across Europe and around the world. He is a recognized conductor, educator, consultant, organizer of international wind music forums, artistic director of wind orchestras, producer, jury member at international festivals and competitions, as well as co-creator and first conductor of the project “Trakai Fanfare Week.” He maintains close creative ties with musicians from many countries.
As a conductor and pedagogue, he is regularly invited to Germany, the United States, Lithuania, Latvia, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Colombia, Malta, and Costa Rica. He frequently serves as an artistic advisor at international events.
Bert Langeler has received awards from the Kingdom of the Netherlands and from the international music community.
