For almost two decades, Liutauras has been working with many Lithuanian musical groups, and as a participant in various projects, he performs annually in European countries, as well as in the USA, Canada, South Korea, and Japan. The first music student from Lithuania to graduate from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA (2011), in 2025, he graduated for the second time from this institution in the Valencia (Spain) campus, where he received a master’s degree in music production, technology, and nnovation. Liutauras has participated in various projects and master classes in Brazil, Italy, the USA, and performed at jazz festivals in India, Turkey, China, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, and most European countries. A member of the famous jazz pianist Dainius Pulauskas’ group, a performer and arranger for the Lithuanian National Television. Between 2013 and 2018, he worked as the principal conductor and the artistic director of Kaunas Bigband, and later, together with trombonist and composer Jievaras Jasinskis, founded “Vilnius JJazz Ensemble”. With solo projects or as a guest performer, the artist has participated in all Lithuanian jazz festivals, various projects of the “Midsummer” festival, etc. As a performer or arranger, Liutauras has collaborated with such popular music performers as Giedrė Kilčiauskienė, Jazzu, Monique, Mantas Jankavičius, Justinas Jarutis, Monika Liu, Andrius Mamontovas, Leon Somov, Linas Adomaitis, Free Finga, Viktoras Diawara, the groups Garbanotas, Saulės Kliošas, Lilas ir Innomine, Abudu, BIX, G’n’G Sindikatas, among others. Participated in collaborative projects with choirs “Vilnius” and “Bel Canto”, Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO), Lithuanian Symphonic Wind Orchestra (LSWO), and The Symphony Orchestra of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre (LNOBT). As a composer, Liutauras creates and arranges not only jazz but also chamber music, produces electronic and experimental music projects, and arranges for various television music shows. In addition to his work recorded in Lithuania, as a guest artist, Liutauras has recorded over twenty albums in Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Spain, and the USA. In 2017, the artist’s solo double album “Two Different Sides” (in CD and vinyl formats) was released, which received excellent reviews, and currently, with musicians from Brazil, the USA, and Japan, Liutauras is working on new music for the album “Eclectic Sketchbox”, planned for release in 2026.
