Kamilė Zaveckaitė

Kamilė Zaveckaitė (piano, Lithuania) is the first and only Lithuanian pianist representing the renowned Yamaha. She is an alumna of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music and the Zagreb Academy of Music, and she obtained her Master’s degree in Music from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. She is a laureate of seventeen international and national solo and chamber music competitions, a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Scholarship Foundation in Bayreuth, and has twice been awarded by the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaitė, for her merits to Lithuania.
Kamilė has shared the stage with world-renowned musicians such as Martha Argerich, Arcadi Volodos, Camilla Nylund, James Rutherford, and Steven Mead. As a soloist, she has performed with the Jenaer Philharmonie, Brixen Classics, the Kent Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra, and the Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra.
Her recent concert activities include a special performance at Hohenzollern Castle (Germany), where she and the distinguished violinist Yury Revich performed for Prince Georg Friedrich Ferdinand of Prussia and Princess Sophie, as well as a solo recital at one of Japan’s most prestigious concert venues, Ginza Yamaha Hall in Tokyo.
In 2022, she made her debut at the renowned ORF Radiokulturhaus in Vienna. In the same year, she won the Grand Prize at the Kaunas Piano Fest, which led to a solo appearance with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra during the 2023–2024 season at the Vilnius Philharmonic.
Committed to fostering classical music traditions in her hometown of Marijampolė, Kamilė Zaveckaitė organizes the classical music festival “Kultūros savaitė” (Culture Week). Since 2015, she has been the concertmaster of the international project “Trakai Fanfare Week.”
