Collaborative Jazz Septet

Collaborative Jazz Septet is the only jazz septet in Lithuania authentically performing original music inspired by the bebop and hard bop eras. It is an international ensemble whose core consists of Lithuanian musicians, joined by double bassist Mariuśz Prasniewski (Poland) and pianist Tuomas Korhonen (Finland).
All of the group’s concerts are marked by tremendous energy, generated by dynamic compositions and masterful improvisations. Audiences and critics alike have repeatedly noted that although there are only seven musicians on stage, the septet’s sound resembles that of a full big band. Not a single concert has ended without an audience-demanded encore — and after their performance at the Broma Jazz Festival, there were even two.
